New Roofs built for Milland homes
Milland is a wooded rural parish where tall trees fill gutters and shade roofs that grow moss.
Milland lies in or beside the South Downs National Park, where period cottages, flint walls, clay peg tiles and lime mortar are the norm. Many properties are listed or sit in conservation areas, so we match reclaimed materials, use breathable lime where needed and respect planning requirements.
We install to BS 5534 and the manufacturer's wind-uplift calculations, so every tile is clipped and nailed exactly as required for your exposure zone. Where rafters have rotted or sagged we sister or replace them before re-covering, and we add ventilation to stop loft condensation.
New Roofs materials & options
Choices include natural Spanish or Welsh slate, handmade and machine-made clay plain tiles, interlocking concrete tiles and, for flat sections, GRP fibreglass or EPDM rubber.
Not sure what's right for your property? Our surveyor will show you samples and explain the pros and cons of each option for new roofs in Milland.
